I was trying to select some King Crimson's albums I like the most but when I was exploring their discography I found that the best albums are from the 60's and 70's Crimson's era. It's characterized as progressive rock or art rock with some influence of jazz improvization and that's the aspects I like the best (especially like early albums by Pink Floyd). So there's the concrete list:
In the Court of the Crimson King (1969)
In the Wake of Poseidon (1970)
Lizard (1970)
Islands (1971)
Larks' Tongues in Aspic (1973)
Starless and Bible Black (1974)
Red (1974)
