hehe congrats that's fantastic C: well it was just one weekend, i'll do more if there's a chance though this week was absolutely exhausting.. it already pays off, we get the salary every two weeks 8D gosh that's sooon. we don't have such thing i reckon, all summer is just one huge vacation. or would be unless i had the job xd so you already bored and excited to go back?

so how did your exams go? when do you get the results? sorry for responding so scarcely, it's again hellish at work and i find myself being so so tired all the time. i can't really explain what i do, given i don't even know truly myself, but they're some kind of metal pieces that they use when building stuff XD like, fire control etc. not at all in accordance with my education nor awfully enjoyable, yet it pays quite well so i try not to complain :D how's your holiday been so far? :)

ohh it must be your finals :/ what did you see? i work 8-10 hours, depending on the shift. this week was sheer hell since our department was insanely busy and everyone was getting hysterical. i couldn't be happier for the break we have now.. you dont celebrate midsummer there i'm guessing? to us it's an annual occasion and also a reason to get a bit nuts xd myself i'm going to spend it at a cottage on a island with a group of friends:)

hehe we'll see:) gee you got me surprised again, it's really becoming a habit eh? what's with you people, not reading Harry Potter nor watching LOTR.. jkjk x'd well it surely was an emotional scene yet not the kind where people typically burst into tears haha. we should really try to sort out our school systems and their differences sometime, i'm getting more and more confused here.. did you post that address of yours? either way it didn't reach me:o

Okay thanks I'll try to find them the next time I hit the town :3 yup, like when there's a battle scene lol, you know that moment in LOTR 3 where all the soldiers are yelling ''DEATH''? that's where i cry :'DD hmm it's not exactly fantasy i guess, more like adventure fiction, satire and comedy all mended into one xd sound like a pretty good plan to me! well you see here our final exams' results are often taken into account when we apply to the universities and so on :) i thought you might have that system aswell. yeh i do have an msn, why don't you message your address to my inbox and i'll add you? :')

i think i might have maybe possibly heard of him xd perhaps i'll see if our library stocks any and give it a try! ah that's sort of sweet you know :') books hardly ever make me cry.. movies are more likely to do that, though i usually cry in the weird parts for some peculiar reason :D seems to me that one's lucky to find good fantasy. the best fantasy/adventure i've read are Happy Potters and also THG. ever heard of ''The hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy''? several genres have been mended in it and it's still a success, i really enjoyed reading that series :) true! are you planning something special for those few weeks? about your finals, do they have a lot of influence on where you can go on schoolwise?

mmh that's not so great then again :/ you know i rarely appreciate how well things are here, which is kinda sad too. and moments like this it makes me somewhat ashamed. hmm, i can take romance if it's not the dominating genre, but otherwise i tend to avoid it. few writers can pull it off so that it wouldn't seem corny to me.. i prefer fantasy and thrillers, but it's true that most of them also include romantic features : ) gee that's not exactly what i'd call a holiday :s i do hope your work pays off in the exams!

exactly:D the town organises it so's to help young people (under 18) to get a job for summer, there are some 500 jobs provided each year. it's for one month only and the salary is ridiculously low but i still find it pretty awesome business :) otherwise it's goddamn difficult to find a place to work. how about there? i see.. myself i dislike reading romance in general though. hehee thanks for saying that :') aha, when will you take your examination?

it's my first real job you know, only been once earlier and i won that place in our local ''summer job lottery'' XD frankly i'm rather scared about going there since i've got no former experience and i'm certain i'll screw sth up :< geee god knows we don't need any more of those.. can't believe your friend actually recommended it :'D well that's good, myself i get nauseous if i try to read on a bus. glad you asked since everything's pretty wonderful now, i love the flat and the neighbour is nice and awwh i don't think i've ever been this happy with my life ^^ how about you, hopefully doing equally great? :')

Aha! :D just a job, nothing where you need your brains at.. so what, it has similar characters or storyline..? D: i would unless i felt so aversed to doing that, it's a matter of (stupid) principle xd woah can't see how you can manage that! i don' have any special device either and getting one is not on my list of priorities right now either, seeing as i just moved on my own and all xp

oh your holiday hasn't even begun yet? myself i've been doing virtually nothing for the past month:D i'll start working next monday though.. jaysus it's almost impossible for me to force myself to read if the book just blows :s i'm itching to toss 'Freedom' so as to read the final piece of THG but i'm really trying to persist x'd same here, can't really justify any more investments in literature.. what do you use to read ebooks? : )
操作
-
iKatrine
brilliant, i hope it'll blow you away hehe :) myself i just got the third book of the Hunger Games series. going to read it after finishing ''Freedom'' by Jonathan Franzen which is my project at present, dunno if you've heard of it? i know, that genre appeals to me so much! one of the main reasons i've taken a liking to Elton in fact. nah it depends lots on the book in question whether i read it fast.. THG just happens to be written so that it's easy to chew x'd

it's one of those that are famous for a reason :D it's insane how its grip on you wont wear off though you read the series several times. the plot is amazingly delicate and the language simply suberb (did i convince you already? XD). fortunate for you then indeed :o sounds rather drastic though, just throwing in two more years like that. wouldn't work here.. trueee :) besides that, i enjoy (political) satires quite a bit. in fact, the Hunger Games series sort of falls into that genre aswell. by the way, if you prefer the reading process be a long-lasting one, i wouldn't recommend THG since it took me a day each to finish the first two..

wow couldn't have expected to meet someone who hasn't fallen for them to date! :D haha. um i think your college is kind of similar to our high school..? not sure. but certainly you can get a good job from where i go, depending largely on your studying capacity thouhg xd oh i adore books that give one insight :) it is exactly that, gahh. luckily i have relatives that have promised to help me out hehe

iKatrine
oh is that so! for me it was definitely Harry Potter :') any thoughts considering that series? haha well that sounds more like it, i'd have found it very shocking unless you had read more XD it does appear to be so indeed. i think ours is one of the slowest.. everyone takes pretty much the same education until they're 15-16, after which we have more options. i did enjoy the year to some measure, though it's already quite tough., oh i see, good thing you've got such an upbeat attitude about it :) whining hardly helps in any case so.. oh nooo i'll move this friday! so that means i still have ALL the packing and unpacking ahead, yay :p probably it'll take a while anyway before the awesomeness can begin :D

it's certainly easy to read and frankly it's no wonder it's so hugely popular. that saga is completely unreadable when translated into my language, mind. i do my best to steer clear of any translations:p yeah that's probably a good idea. only that i didn't know there was a book in the first place and just went to see the film.. though it really helped to stand the suspense of the book haha:D you serious? i've been ''made'' to read throughout my school years, though not much in English. still, i find that very odd indeed you haven't? :o oh i own that book, it's so sweet :) no wayyy i'm a freshman since i just started at the uni last autumn! our school systems might differ, which is why i reckon it's a bit hand to explain.. i misunderstood you and thought you travelled 4hours per week so i though you slept there my gosh that sounds ROUGH :S do you travel by bus or train or..? hehe i shall and i promise to try and not be excessively expressive of how brilliant all is x'd

yup, courtesy of the movie no doubt. first i thought it'll be Twilight all over again but it's really not, it's actually fantastic :) did you go and see the movie? oh so it's nostalgic to you :') sweet. how come you haven't read it yet? XD though i'm one to talk, since i own several books i haven't even started reading haha. oh don't be (awfully;)) envious, it's going to be tough to make ends meet since when the autumn arrives i'll be a student again:D i bet that travelling must suck really bad.. :s eugh. do you sleep at the school grounds during the term? i don't have to buy all of it since i can take most with me from home, mostly i'll get to focus on decorating :3

well the main library here stocks a decent amount of fiction i reckon, but chiefly just the most famous authors.. you know the Hunger Games by the way? i bought the book yesterday and fricking read it already XD it's absolutely enthralling. no need to tell i dearly recommend it eh? and yes, no roomie though i share a little hall room with a neighbour, but that's it. the rest is all mine C: i'm so glad i managed to get it, it's a student house so the rent is reasonable and so on:) i'll be moving next friday

really?! whoa i really hope our library has it stocked, since i just spent large sums on books and can't justify buying any more for some time X'D fingers crossed you'll find it, Ellis is a famous writer but few stores have his books i reckon.. he was on top several years ago you see. and i'm sure there'll be loads of good stuff awaiting, you just hang on ;) as for me, you'll never guess, i'm FINALLY moving out into a flat of my own! me = excited ^^

hope you'll enjoy them ^^ in 'Misery', there's an author who gets into an accident and is saved by his fan, who then takes him to her house and keeps him locked up there. the movie was creeeepy! i thought the plot was intriguing so it might be worth reading :) if you want a scary book i'd recommend 'Lunar Park' by Bret Easton Ellis, it's by far the scariest one i've read! now c'mon, why would you say that your life's boring? :<

oh me too, American Psycho was the biggest disappointment as a film that I've come across to date.. but I thought I might like to read King's novel, called 'Misery', since I really liked the movie :) I sincerely doubt that but thanks for having so much faith in me regardless ;) Wilde's 'The Pcture of Dorian Gray' is definitely a classic and the most influential book I've read. then, Nick Hornby's 'About a Boy' is a modern classic, I think, and quite readable :)

It was some sort of a collection, it was a long time ago. I've cnsidered reading more since our library is packed with them:D recently I've been watching the movie adaptations, have you seen any? :) oh nooo, though I like coming up with phrases that rhyme and such I am no poet :D nor really a story-teller.. I'd rather write something critical for example, like columns and reviews and stuff :) yeah I know what you mean.. it helps if you let go of trying to understand the poem and just focus on how it makes you feel, like the mood of the poem you know? oh maybe I'll have to read it as well! I've heard of it surely but never come across.
操作

oh i've read some of King's short stories too :) Elton writes satiristic fiction which is both hilarious and shocking. and Wilde mainly wrote plays and poetry, only one novel. i own all his works in one huge volume and i simply worship him :D do you have a favourite book by any chance?
操作
-
iKatrine
true, it's not for worse but sometimes it really disturbs me and i can't get absorbed in the book x'd well literature is really the only thing i'm good at when it comes to my studies. i'm not a very scientific person and dismiss all the theories pretty much. hmm, your system must be quite different from ours :o but hey, why would anyone want to be old ^^ Ben Elton writes simply perfect fiction, but i adore Oscar Wilde's works aswell. those two are my favourites i suppose :) how about yours?

that's how it's supposed to be perhaps, but since my education sort of demands me to take notice i can't really help it x'd in fact i think i'm going to opt for the literary track at the uni next year. do you know already what you'll study after high school? i'm a total book addict too, so that dream sounds fairly reasonable to me! :D i go nuts whenever i see a book sale.. i've been trying to use the library more lately though, books ain't that cheap bleh. mmh that site really seems greeeat, maybe i'll start using it aswell:)
操作

yes exacly. you could totally tell that the writer was an amateur.. she kept repeating the same things and kept dropping fancy words among mundane text etcetc, it really pissed me of :p i reckon she was just a fan who wanted to write the story of Molko. I own a lot of books and also use the library a lot, though not so much recently. what was the last book you read?:) that website is awesome by the way, i've been trying to find something like that but never came across! thanks.

haha i talk to myself at times X'D feeling like a retard afterwards.. and sometimes i read out loud which i find veeery useful. well yeah, every chance to use it in a real life situation is welcome :) that's true it sounds wonderful and so does a British accent! hmm, atheists claim that God doesn't exist, whereas agnostics think you can't really prove anything. on the whole i usually avoid talking about religion with people since it's such a personal issue.
