Just thought you might be interested in Kissing Just For Practice - a Belle & Sebastian disco. It's taking place this coming Friday the 29th of Oct. The venue is the Star and Garter on Fairfield Street, Manchester with guest DJ's Dan & Hannah from the hugely successful and wonderful PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER club night. We play B&S every 4 or 5 songs (That's the bits of bread) and the succulent filler is gorgeous, sugar-coated indiepop, new wave, sixties bubblegum and anything else of that ilk. We start around 9pm and continue until the wee hours of the morning. £3 for NUS members and anyone sporting a B&S badge £4 anyone else £5 anyone arriving after midnight. Hope to see you there. Sweeet man...Aye I think there will be a few left by tomorrow still! And Denis is a good friend...I've seen a few of his gigs now and he just gets better....it should be a very nice little festival with a unique edge to it as the poetry (not everyone's cup of tea I know) are very diverse, professional and unique...some can be likened to punk poets I suppose! Look fwd to meeting you at some point...

I think on sync, it does track your ipod playing, but since I have my ipod on manual, it doesn't automatically track those tracks. Which is not really a big deal. I've already told people the weird/odd music I listen to are for review and doesn't reflect what Im really into (porn music...)

Green Man. I tried registering onto their website after my friend Kate from "This Is The Kit" told me about them but I couldn't for some reason and gave up (I was trying to vote for t.i.t.k. who'd entered some contest to get a gig there which they didn't end up getting) ...maybe I will contact them for next year. it's a long shot but I get a lot of practice what with my cousins and all... ps: check out "this is the kit" if you haven't already. it's really good.
