metalcore is a stupid tag, u and i are around the same age so here i go when i was growning up here were the generes, metal, death metal, punk, and hardcore, there was no hardcorepunk , no metalcore, no thrash this no melodic bullshit no emo shit nothing like that, i think metalcore the term was made up by some little 15 year old dumb fuck that was insecure about what he listens to, i think most typical metalheads are to uptight
