If there is some deity out there controlling what happens to me, s/he is definitely hinting that I should live my life while it's here. My experiences as a teenager have taught me that regret and guilt are useless to me. My dad is battling lung cancer, and he's at another one of those points where we find out how much time he has left.

And I'm currently running the sound for my theatre's production of RENT, so 6 nights a week, it repeats to me again and again: No Day But Today.

I must say that although I have an independent spirit, I'm glad I have a lot of people around me who are willing to listen when I have something to cry or complain about, and give me hugs. I believe that hugs can make anything at least a little bit better.
