Don't really speak icelandic, but most of their tracks are kind of melancholic. At least so they seem to me. I love Svefn-g-Englar.

Plans or Central and Remote or On a Neck, On a Spit or… or… you get it :P But those three are some of my favorites.
Don't know what't going on but they've been growing quite fast on their Last.fm charts! And they don't have new material… hmm, Radiohead backlash?

Not really "happy", but whenever I listen to Deadbolt I'm just jumping around or doing some air guitar. Good ol' punk days! Those kind of songs will never be made again by Thrice, and that's a good thing.

The Pot, closely followed by Vicarious, that is pretty much A Perfect Circle song with Tool instrumentation. That album (10,000 Days) was a disappointment for me. I mean if you are going to take 5 years to make an album, people are going to expect masterpieces like Ænima or Lateralus.

Don't really know for sure, never seen them live. But I'm glad they are back together again. Those Cosmonauts demos were kind of bleak.

Basically A Past is a Grotesque Animal. The entire song. In my Top album of 07 journal I created a category for this song only. It's got too many good lines in it.

19. Who is a favorite member of 1?
The Twilight Sad
I don't know them to pinpoint a favorite person within the group. To most people is almost intuitive to go with the lead singer, which it's understandable, they're pretty much the face of the group. To be honest they're all good at what they do, that's the reason they're number 1! So all of them :)
Gotta say I do love James' mic-stand-breaking ways, that I see on YouTube… you know, don't get me started…
Also congrats on the number 1 thing that came to be fairly recently :P

Again not happy per se, but whenever I listen to You're no Rock n' Roll Fun I switch to full show-stopper mode: singing, weird choreography that doesn't really go with the song, the whole nine yards.

Wet and Rusting. This last week it was proved that when a song it's this excellent nothing can destroy it. There's an acoustic and a remix version… they're good. I mean there are not that many songs that can be thrown into different waters and still be great!
