- What was the first song you ever heard by 6?
One day, I was listening to KEXP and heard Casimir Pulaski Day on the radio. I was impressed, but I didn't connect with it right away. I think it took almost all my friends talking about how amazing the album Illinois was. I ended up downloading it, then buying it, and I haven't stopped listening to it yet.

- What is your favorite album of 2?
The album that got me into the Doves was Some Cities. I had never even heard of them before I listened to that album. I was actually at this record store in Seattle with my friend and he told me to stand at a listening booth and listen to the album.

- What is your favorite lyric that 5 has sung?
Picking a single lyric from Issac Brock is not an easy task, as one of the main reasons I love Modest Mouse is his lyrics.

-How many times have you seen 4 live?
Once, at the Bumbershoot Music Arts Festival in Seattle. I would love to see them again.

The Bass and the Movement has always been a favorite of mine. There is a million others as well.

-What is a good memory you have involving the music of 10?
Living in the U-District with my friends, where we would trade music freely and inspired each other quite a bit. The Shins are one of those bands that I found then and I always think of those times. Simple times, simple lives.

-Is there a song of 3 that makes you sad?
I don't listen to the music that makes me sad as much as the music that makes me happy. NIN was more of an aggression music for me. But, I guess The Becoming or Hurt would be the saddest music.

-What is your favorite lyric that 2 has sung?

-What is your favorite song by 9?
One More Robot/Sympathy 3000-21 or Turn It On

-How did you get in to 3?
Back in the day, when The Downward Spiral came out, I realized who that band was. I liked the stuff on the radio, like Head Like A Hole, but what caught my attention the most was when I was at my friend's house watching Woodstock '94 and I caught Nine Inch Nails performance. After that, I was obsessed.

-What was the first song you heard by 1?
It was most likely Laid, as that was the first album I got by them because of that single. It's been such a long time since I first started listening to them, though. I'm not sure.

-What is your favorite song by 4?
The best R.E.M. song ever is Find the River.

-How many time have you seen 9 live?
One time. They opened for Beck, actually. And then they were his backup band.

-What is a good memory you have involving 6?
I'm in my car with this girl whom I like a lot. We were talking about music and I mention Sufjan. She hasn't heard of them, so I call KEXP and request They Are Night Zombies!! They Are Neighbors!! They Have Come Back From the Dead!! Ahhhhh! and they play it as the very next song. A perfect moment, for sure.

-Is there a song of 8 that makes you sad?
There is a lot of sad Beck songs. The whole album Sea Change is pretty sad.

-What is your favorite album of 5?
Good News For People Who Love Bad News has bypased their earlier work. The Moon & Antarctica blew my mind when I first heard it too.

-What is your favorite lyric that 3 has sung?

Let's count. Once at the Paramount, once at Benaroya Hall with the Flaming Lips, any more? I can't remember. At least twice, maybe more.

-What is your favorite album of 1?
I really like their last album. Pleased to Meet You

-What is a great memory you have considering 9?
Besides seeing them live? Listeing to Zaireeka for the first time. My roommates and I all pull out cd players into the living room. We each arm one with a disc and press play in the correct order. Then we all get really high and experience the amazing audio experience.

-What was the first song you heard by 8?
Loser, of course. I remember when this first broke on radio. Awesome song.

-What is your favorite cover by 1?
On the b-sides collection, the have this awesome cover of China Girl by David Bowie.
