Amazing charts! Saw that you already gave the last half of Night Verses' new album a spin. Hope it was every bit of sweet for you as it was for me. Cheers

Hey, thanks! I love the record. I was a bit wary about them bringing in vocalists but, of course, they make it work. 'Plague Dancer' is my favourite track at the minute.

"It's weird when people write to bands directly on their Last.fm pages" ha. I've always thought that to myself. So it was appropriate to see someone "shout" that. And on The Fall of Troy's page of all places. Touché.

ooo your close to 100,000 plays! what happens then, the clock go back to zero? that would be frustrating. Thought i'd pop in and see what you were listening too, only knew a few of them despite our super compatibility... any tips?

Nope, I just looked back at 2000 albums and decided which one was my favourite. If that makes sense.

Listening to the new (last year) Stuart Warwick album while working on essays. Interesting theme and continues his great work. Thanks for the heads up

I see you possibly could be going to see The Dillinger Escape Plan down Concorde 2 on the 31st. If you wanted to we could meet up before the show, but I won't get there for doors I don't believe, which a slight bummer cause I quite like seeing the support bands, but I'll be coming straight from work so I'll get there as fast as trains and walking will allow to get me there at whatever time! Hope to meet up with you or bump into you at the gig! That's if you're going of course! =D

My best Beatles might be Rubber Soul (1965). It was written when they had been hanging with Bob Dylan and getting a bit stoned, before they moved on to harder stuff, playing acoustic guitars and was the beginning of their move from great pop band to pop innovators. Revolver (1966) has some of their best songs on it including actual ground breaking songs like Tomorrow Never Knows. Sgt. Pepper (1967) is similarly brilliant. The White Album (1968) could have been their best if it wasn’t a double album and thus there are some real easy to skip songs. The second half of Abbey Road (1969) is brilliant medley, the first half is standard Beatles. The Magical Mystery Tour (1967ish - which is an EP and 5 singles) has things like Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane. Basically, any of their material released between 1965 and 1969 is worth listening to. And all stuff they released either side of that is not without its charms, but i only have 1000 characters to talka bout them!

An discomforting mix of thrash and euphoria. While some tracks exceed the lows of Supercharger, others rock.....hard. It's a guilty pleasure. What do you think?

I've still not got round to listening to the new album. I've got medium hopes. I've only just discovered the unreleased first album, which has some nice moments on, a bit more emo or something
