Ah, yes, it is a Russian name! Although I'm not Russian, I just have parents who liked the name.

Hi, thanks for the shout, I like your charts too! I like my name as well, it's not too common and isn't gendered which is cool. :D

Thanks mate. I am indeed English, from Birmingham. Living in Japan for us foreign folk is a total breeze. Its not the magical wonderland that it is often portrayed as back home but it is certainly a wonderful country to live in.

Haibane Renmei is really nice, though it isn't exactly Lain-tier. I actually have a signed copy of an art book by the creator of the show though (I only have that and Yamamoto, I'm not some crazy collector, this is just coincidence), called GAIRO. My friend, Avianion, who sent you that vulgar message is a fan of Legend of the Galactic Heroes, he might be able to talk about it a bit. I'm gonna watch it at some point, but not any time soon I don't think. Feel free to add me on MAL, though I'd recommend Hummingbird as it's cleaner and probably growing faster than MAL, which is starting to age now.

The post cards are pretty cheap and they make nice pin-ups. Yeah, two at the moment: Monster, which I've been planning to watch for years but put off due to it being seventy-four episodes long; and also Kill La Kill since a few flatmates are also watching it. My hummingbird account has more stuff, as does my MAL (though I don't update that frequently). How about you?

I know, I really love what he does. I even bought a signed book of his, as well as some decorative post cards. If you're interested at all in art books or anything like that, there's lots to look through on his AkaTako page.

It's neither from an anime or manga, it's actually a piece by Takato Yamamoto. If you google him you can find a plethora of artwork.

Hey man! Great that you enjoy Dir en Grey that much. Their discography is so great. You'll find so much hidden gems. Oh yes! Did you saw that Lunacy Fest? I would have given all my money to go there. T_T I hope they will publish a big Blu Ray package soon! For Yoko Kanno: I always download soundtracks of Animes I liked and Yoko Kanno did the soundtrack for so many Animes I liked so my library was full og her music after a few years haha. So try to find some Anime soundtrack packages. For example Cowboy Bebop. There should be many options to downloads. If you have problems with finding some stuff which I own, don't hesitate to ask me, I upload them for you. :)

No problem! I think the best songs to start off with for Cult Of Luna are I: The Weapon and Ghost Trail. And for Rosetta try Départe and Ryu / Tradition. Also Rosetta just released a new album called Quintessential Ephemera that's really good.

Thanks, you have a great taste too! Both Cult Of Luna and Rosetta are great bands, do you want me to recommend which songs by them to check out first?

I'm bad at answering in time hehe. Oh you had problems with finding Dir en Grey albums? Search for the Ninja Panda blog, there you'll find EVERYTHING. As a die hard Luna Sea fan I have to recommend them to you. They are magical. :) Oh I didn't go to Limp Bizkit in the end. It was too expensive. :'(

well they changed from nu metalish style to groove/thrash metal. I would recommend "The Blackening" that one is killer ! and also try "The Burning Red" so you have both sides of them ^^
