good music is everywhere, you just need an open mind to fully realize that. i've dabbled in electronica, indie rock, metal, underground hip-hop, and some jazz, and every single genre has their hidden gems within. if i feel that the music is right for me, i go for it and take in all the goodness. do not cave in to corporate music, don't let the radio govern what your taste in music should be. don't let peer/scene pressure force you to focus only on one genre. expand your horizons, and you will be gifted with all the good music humanity has to offer!
