I always listen to albums in full. And I really appreciate artists who put an effort into making albums that complete works and not just a bunch of songs ... whether it's a concept album or just something that flows together perfectly. That's one of the things that has drawn me to your music. And no, I don't make music. I've tried many times, but I'm just not musically inclined. I actually didn't like witchhouse much until maybe 6-7 months ago. A good friend on here has been listening to it for a long time and I kept trying stuff he was listening to. We tend to like the same stuff mostly and I felt compelled to find out what he saw in it. It's a pretty meaningless term right now. So many unrelated artists get lumped together under that name I can't even explain what WH is to friends.

And finally I take the time to re-download ur discog ;) (had a HD crash some time ago :( ) Havent listened to ur stuff for quite some time. Guess I will start from the last release and then backwards. Neat review btw.

Hi Angus. You may be the first person to see www.dccardwell.com in its new form - it just went live yesterday! Before it just linked to my Bandcamp page. It's on Wordpress and it's just been put together by Michelle Bourke who I met through winning the Catapult Song Contest. I'd been meaning to put together a proper site for years so it was VERY nice to have it done for me.

Looking at your personal chart, I love the way The Beatles can sit proud in anyone's list, no matter how metal/alternative//grunge/rap/bizarro/postrock/peachtree the rest of the music is. Oh, and I guess Tears For Fears can too - whoops! Good to see you here, Mr. Maiden!
