Crucified is a great hardcore band with catchy riffage, Some of the best screams in music, and killer pacing. The short songs keeps those with short attention spans paying attentions and Crucified are a fucking loud blast to the ears.

16 are a noisy, sludge metal band from California who have a similar sound to Unsane. I'd recommend Curves That Kick if you want an amrep records vibe or Drop Out if you want sludgier sutff without the distorted vocals. Bridges To Burn is also one of the better comeback albums of 2009. The lyrics are depressing and the riffs super-heavy so enjoy

theres this new band called Volture thats the bassist of Municipal Waste and a few others playing new wave of british heavy metal. the music is on par but the vocals have a king diamond-esque cheese to them.
