Right now I'm obsessed with how music taste is connected to your personality. I've been reading a lot of studies about this. I'm not sure where I fit in because those studies never study folk music fans. Even if they did, I bet people who enjoy African music have a different personality than fans of Scandinavian folk music or people who prefer singer-songwriter type folk. I'm also wondering if there's anyone my age with my taste in music. I do know that some people my age enjoy indie, metal and industrial music. I do listen to those genres once in a while, but lately I've been more into Scandinavian folk music. I highly doubt I'll meet anyone my age that enjoys that type of music in real life. I have chatted with a few teens on last.fm that like that music, but they're usually from Russia and I have no way of knowing if they are really teens or not. I'm kind of proud of myself for liking music that teens wouldn't like, but at the same time I would be embarrassed if my classmates would listen to my more unique music. I know my music taste is very weird and I'm very weird as well :)
