I'm a sucker for anything random!
Your Life: The Soundtrack
So heres how it works:
Open your choice of music player and put it on shuffle.
Press play.
For every question type the song thats on.
And when you go to a new question press the next button.
No cheating.
Ready?
GO!
Opening credit:
The Clash - Jail Guitar Doors
Okay, so that would be a crime/ rock music comedy, Indie, British
Waking up:
The Dandy Warhols - Not If You Were The Last Junkie On Earth
Very upbeat, bit cynical, could still be the comedy mentioned above.
Average day:
Feline - The Air That I Breathe
Apparently average days are indeed more average. One of those slowish rock covers that were abundant a decade ago.
First date:
Leisure Society - Something
That's the Beatles "Something", so quite apropriate
Falling in love:
Stratus - L'Hôtel Particulier
A Serge Gainsbourg original, this love will be dark and sensual, and a bit perverted… nice!
Fight scene:
The Cult - Heart of Soul
Yes, rock, but a bit too slow for a fight scene. A miss, this one
Breaking up:
Nght Bird - Mad World
That's the same as the Jules guy, the Tears for Fears original! Quite appropriate. Lots of covers, maybe it's cheaper for the director.
Getting back together:
Joe Jackson - Amateur Hour
Possible, does not bear well for the future of the relationship. A tired, melancholic song.
Life's okay:
Tenacious D - Wonderboy
Yes, happy and funny. Not bad, but jars a little with the rest.
Mental breakdown:
Liaisons Dangereuses - Los Niños del Parque
The main character reverts to speak Spanish,… Not the best chouce, great 80s New Wave song though!
Driving:
Jane Weaver - Once You'd Given Me Up
Slow drive, reminiscing, could be worse
Flashback:
The Rolling Stones - Stupid Girl
Old, about a stupid girl. Again, not bad, will cost a fortune to use though.
Partying:
Jane's Addiction - Ripple
Too slow to party I'm afraid. Yet another cover though!
