Maybe I'm biased (yes), but bassists don't get enough love. I'm not talking about the folks that stick to four boring repetitive notes song after song, but those who continue to push the envelope and do awesome creative shit.

I avoided the Bootsy/Flea/Geddy Lee route because it was a little too obvious, so I opted for five bassists that continue to blow me away.
