This isn't nearly the best Meat Puppets album ever made but I think it gets a bit of a bad wrap. There are some good songs here. Sure, they're a little sappy and more accessible than typical Meat Puppets but a good listen nonetheless. I especially like I Quit, You Love Me and Endless Wave. Songs like Hercules, on the other hand, are what make this album sub-par overall.
