I was watching 'After Hours' last night, directed by Scorcese, a Phenomenal film. What one would call 'kafkaesque' 'sudden manhattan' is deemed a "female" version of that film. Have you seen 'Sudden Manhattan' It's a very strange film with Hal Hartley regular actress, Adrienne Shelley. Quite oblique in meaning, a unsettling atmosphere about it, made even the more creepy considering she was murdered in a strange conflict with a neighbour. I am thinking perhaps a burning house 'music video' with a similar vibe - however ambitious (delusional) that sounds...
