hi, I'm like on a quest right now to find more music that is similar to Fall Out Boy. like as a band, not necessarily the same exact genre, you know? I did find maximo park which I like now and I see you like as well, and they have that kinda sound I'm looking for I guess ha. but I see you really love Fall Out Boy and bands similar to them so I was wondering if you could help me out ha. but I'm looking for lesser-known bands than stuff like New Found Glory, Yellowcard, Simple Plan, Panic! At The Disco, etc. but if you have any suggestions that be awesome!! :D

Hey, sorry for the late reply. I seem to forget about comments on here! Ah yeah, I remember you saying before that you wanted to study Art History. It sounds really interesting, and I'm so glad you're enjoying it! Are you living in university halls of residence? If so, do you get on well with your housemates? Liverpool is a great city, and it isn't very far away. It's about a 1.5 hour train journey from Blackpool (my hometown), and I think about 1 hour from Sheffield, where I studied before. Yes, I get to do lots of experiments! I don't have classes or seminars anymore, I just work in the lab every day doing research. Everyone there is friendly and it's a nice, relaxed atmosphere. :)

hey, I saw your post on The Kills' profile, I guess. If you want to discover some nice music listen to a Polish artist Dawid Podsiadło. He's very young but his songs sound very mature and intriguing. Have a nice week. :) Ps. I love the description about you! I also love reading and I think 50s and 60s were quite cool... :) greetings from Poland!

I'm a big fan of rap, Dutch rap though. There's more to it than bragging about money and bitches, something many people don't seem to know because the radio is filled with crap. 'Opgezwolle' for example had really strong lyrics back when they performed under that name. I can understand why you don't like it, though. Old school hard rock is something I'm two-hearted about. I like acts like AC/DC and Humble Pie, but there's a lot of shit as well. And classical music, well yeah, I haven't gotten myself into that enough to say something about it. Lately I'm listening to a lot of jazz. It's calming.

Yes, it's pretty diverse. I grew up with a father who listened to Dire Straits, Queen and The Who, and a mother who was mainly into native Dutch artists. From there on I started discovering things myself, slowly becoming more interested in different types of music. I hope to raise my future children with the same eclectic music taste. Life's so much more enjoyable when you like more than two or three genres.

Yes, actually that's the same thing happened when I joined a facebook group for shoegaze music lover and each replies contains about 5-10 bands, haha. That's too many actually, but yeah, you're right, you can check them all in due time. :)

Hi since I saw that you already knew bands like Within Temptation, Epica, Nightwish, Delain etc. I'll be suggesting some different bands like Adorable, Up Dharma Down, Seventh Wonder, Blackfield, Kitchens of Distinction, Ride, Spitfire, This Will Destroy You, Oi Va Voi, Verve Pipe. I think it's enough for now and don't hesitate to ask me for top songs from those bands. I hope you can check them one by one though i know you've been flooded by a lot of posts. :) Have a great day! Cheers!

Hey you should give Lost In The Trees a listen. Their album A Church That Fits Our Needs is one of my favorites. You should watch some of the interviews on youtube about the band. Here's my favorite song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3l29e8-lU8
