A Blue Öyster Cult equip truck crashed in my hometown in 1978 before their concert.The semi came upon heavy traffic on the bridge and swerved,crushing a car, then plunged into the river.The driver of both vehicles were killed.My great uncle was one of the cars who witnessed the accident.The truck was only about 1000ft from the destination.Here are some newspaper clippings….
