It would have rocked if they'd released a Frances-era live album. If only Danny had been in the crowd, he was tucked away behind the sound desk right of stage. Tool need to release new material and tour dammit.

Yes, the bootleg is good quality! Cedric's voice is knackered though and his rendition of Cygnus... Vismund Cygnus is quite comical. Excellent live bootleg overall, highly recommended. I was glad to hear Stripsearch as I fell in love with that song when I was about 14. Haha, I've seen that interview too, very unusual and hilarious. Thankfully I'd seen it before the concert or else I would have been SO confused.

You make a really good point about them not wanting to live in the past and move forward, and I guess they haven't made the psychedelic rock they became famous for in a while. Octahedron was nothing like what had come before, and none of the tracks on Noctourniquet bear any resemblance to monstrous tracks such as Tetragrammaton or Cassandra Geminni. Need a time machine real bad! Glad FNM entertained you as much they did me, so good to see them in the flesh. I would have loved to see Cuckoo For Caca and Jizzlobber but the songs they did play were quality. And we were Rickrolled! And we saw Danny DeVito!

Hey Mr Kapper, thanks for the post on my review of the TMV show last night. Glad I wasn't the only one to feel disappointment. They should have listed the show as part of their Noctourniquet tour, not a special one-off UK performance. Kinda feels as though they'll do anything for more fame and cash these days, what with their controversial reformation of At The Drive-In which they said they'd never do. Aaanyway, how were Faith No More in Brixton? I saw them at HMV Hammersmith and they were so good. A great example of a band who channel a lot of energy into a performance despite having performed the songs hundreds of times. ;)

I don't think it's a solo projected. But I'm not positive. I'm pretty sure they're writing for a new album in 2012. Also, check out Fallujah, Immersed, and I Declare War. If you haven't already

It was good, although I'm a little disappointed in Tool's performances this tour. They're my favourite band and they just seemed disinterested on both occasions and they had better visuals last time. Deftones were bludgeoning, especially the newer stuff. Jim jones revue were awesome straight up rock n roll. Andrew WK was a huge ball of fun and Rammstein's effects were phenomenal on such a small stage. Bring on Soundwave I say!

Hey. Time Off haven't got confirmation yet and it's really getting a bit frustrating because I would like to know whether I can sell my ticket and let you take the Fasterlouder pass if you want it. Fasterlouder have sent theirs through but I have no idea when the Time Off ones will come (or even if they'll come). I will try to keep you in the loop. :)

Ooh, I'd go with Immortal Rites, Maze of Torment, Chapel of Ghouls, Day of Suffering, Pain Divine...they're my favourites! I've only just got Blessed are the Sick and Domination though so hopefully I'll have more favourites from those albums once I get more into them, usually takes me a good while to fully appreciate albums.

ahh its genius! as a whole, its really really heavy, yet it is still really clever and interesting, has some fast bits, some awesome tecnical bits, awesome vocals (kind of death metalish, but reminds me a bit of hetfield somehow too), and some other cool bits, you would love it! chuck schulidiner was a genius!
