Oh so you were not far from my country, Slovenia is the neighbouring country of Austria, however, it's an interesting option of coutries, people from us and canada occasionaly go and travel to the south countries of europe often than to others, probably cous' of the historical sights that are there more numerous. Ginger-haired girl, a nice colour indeed, it is not so often in europe, here you would represent a rare exotic type of people. It is only more common in the UK and Ireland. cheers

Heeej, it was just a quick decision on base of your nickname which I found preety intrigating and wonderedabout if you have an alergic reaction on ginger...while I was looking on a profile of one of my friends and there I saw your shout. I see your interest in music is faaaar from mine, and I think that's even better. ave you ever been to Europe? cheers

I would happen to have one.. well, you know my name/my location so I shouldn't be that difficult to find. add away.

that looks like a great lineup. soooo what.. do I just show up and pay my $10? I'll scope out the place and perhaps I'll see you if you do end up being there.. even though we don't even know each other so I highly doubt that it will work.

awesomeness.. sappy is definitely one of the best reasons (if not the only reason) that Sackville may be bearable enough to live in the summer. sooo, that concert is on sunday? perhaps I will show up and maybe I'll see you there.

I would happen to know Dave Fox.. old friend from high school; he's a cool guy. It may be possible that we would see each other around Sackville this summer. Going to Sappyfest?

haha, small world.. I'm from Sackville - born and raised. Go to school in Halifax though, back for the summer right now.

hey you're welcome. FF are really very good. Saw them last week in fact and the four-way harmonies were spot on. anyhow if you fancy some live Miracle Fortress from 2007 (so basically they were trying out all the songs from Five Roses), google "miracle fortress agnes". click on the first link and scroll down and you'll see the goods. (lastfm won't let me post the link). enjoy. and fire over some recommendations.

I have, actually, and would LOVE to again. I saw them one day before Takk... came out (though I'd been listening to it for a solid month or more beforehand), and it was incredible. In fact, that's when ( ) was completely blown open for me—I now consider it my favorite (and the greatest) or their works... and that's pretty much entirely due to seeing Vaka, Njósnavélin, Smáskífa and (ESPECIALLY) Popplagið live (the last of which was... indescribable).

I know how you feel. They're a common thread that runs through my music listening history for the last several years. I actually have pretty much every release they've ever put out on CD and vinyl (minus the limited edition Rimur EP they put out on their ( ) tour, which I'm trying to get now). Someday I hope to put up some shelves and show off the collection. :)

I'd have to say the same for you, ma'am! Thanks for the shout. And, since we seem to have several bands in common, I'm going to take a chance and recommend Frightened Rabbit and Winterpills to you—I'm obsessed with their albums "The Midnight Organ Fight" and "The Light Divides" (respectively) right now.
