Your compatibility with GazGod is Super. You both listen to Sky Ferreira, Björk and Madonna.

Looks like we've both got the new Jamila Woods album on heavy rotation. It's her best yet IMHO.

I see you are enjoying Fault Lines ¹. There's a lot a of people disliking it. I'm catching up with it.

Your charts are really good! I'm obsessed by Anna B Savage since her first songs, she has a huge talent.

Yeah, I read that, but I think it was typical Pitchfork wankery, to be honest with you. Bowie may have found that all quite interesting, but to claim he wrote a song about it directly without sourcing anything was pretty crap writing, imo.

Oh, misread you. Thought you asked what I thought the video was about. Lyrically, I honestly don't know. :/

I've tried my darndest to decipher it, and all I can think is that he's supposed to be some kind of prophet, who for some reason, is sentenced to a death sentence. Probably all those weird tailed women brand him as a heretic after finding the jeweled astronaut? There's a woman with him in his attic, or whatever it is, who seems to be with the all-women group later as well, which could also mean that men aren't allowed, or seen as lesser in their society? I assume the scarecrows later are the two guys who were with him at the same? Are they supposed to be an offering the monster in the field? Whatever it's all about, I bloody well love it. And that tune, man. Incredible.

Hah, I did think it was aimed at me. 'Blackstar' has been blowing my mind, man. Then knowing that that marvelous b-side ''Tis A Pity She Was A Whore' is on the album gets me incredibly excited. Love the video, too!

"'Station To Station', 'Low', 'Heroes', 'Lodger', 'Outside', and then 'Blackstar'. He's back on form! This is better than the entirety of his last record. Yeah, 'The Next Day' is a great album. Just not a great Bowie album. I anticipate great things from 'Blackstar'." Seriously? I think you mean 'on form' for your own preferences :P

Not yet. Work keeps getting in the damned way. I have it queued up right now, but not had chance to put the headphones on. How's it sounding? I loved the Exploitation single.

Yeah I did have a read of that. Especially loved her comments about female musicians not getting enough credit for the work they do. In terms of the album, it's a stunning piece of work. Black Lake totally slays me every time.

Don't know, i'm not really enthusiastic about that guy, to be honest. I'm afraid of wonky electronics.

There are a lot of discussions, rumors and clues about it which let believe that her eleventh album is in production. This is now sure. If not in 2014, in 2015 we'll hear again her voice with new music. You know, Bjork had never said something about her 'new album' coming, it's her character. Have you listened to the collaboration that she made with Death Grips this year?

Infact i was talking about the album. The movie is a slow visual opera, without story, almost entirely without words, accompanied throughout its lenght with a symbolism rather tricky and unreadable, unless you know at least the ancient Japanese culture, or the ideas of Barney. It's something very artistic and enigmatic. But I believe that one of the aims of this work is to trace, in a very personal way, the historical elements in the culture of Japan, and the extermination of cetaceans after the world war. Japan is the only country in the world that keeps hunting and killing many whales every year, also in prohibited areas, it's something established in its history. Whatever, Bjork made a really experimental stuff in this, the album is one of the most avant-garde thing i ever heard by her, strange, psychedelic, dark, creepy. Wish she sang in Gratitude, wonderful opening.

I see that you're a last.fm subscriber therefore you're able to see visitor who visit your page :) Well, I don't consider myself a fan yet, but IAMX are definitel a growing band for me. It was a while ago when I discovered trip-hop genre and went through some bands that represented the genre, like Massive Attack, Tricky and Sneaker Pimps. I liked Sneaker Pimps too, but I think that IAMX are bit better in my opinion. I feel bit more melancholy and ambient-style elements in their music and that's why I like them a lot :)

It's pretty neat. Not had chance to rinse it yet, just a few listens, but I really like the somber quality of it. Really excited for the album.
