music I remember for good or bad reasons kinda short i didn't steal the idea from here honest
Roughly in chronological order, however some songs i can't remember when i discovered so I put them at the bottom.
Clint Eastwood First song I ever actually remember listening to. Ever. Also first music video. I don't know if you've ever read The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho but I was reading that at the time, i must've been like 8 or 7 or something, can't remember what happens in that but i think there are ghosts
Don't Panic Listened to this when I was 10, teacher played it for god knows why. YEAH WE LIVE IN A BEAUTIFUL WORLD YEAH WE DO YEAH WE DO
Clocks First listened to track off the first album I ever owned. Seriously wat
Chic 'n' Stu First 'metal' track I ever listened to OMG SO HEVVY. I still love this album okay shut up
Ace Of Spades Limewire is still cool, this was the first track i downloaded. No idea either. Good track
Bright Idea First CD i ever bought with 'my' own money. Hellyeah
Tribute Oh we played this song -so- many times in 2005
Terminus (Where Death Is Most Alive) Favourite song off the first melodeath album I ever listened to, still absolutely brilliant
Drawn To Black Listened to this on iTunes store (yes yes shut up), pains me to write but i actually thought they were bikers when i listened to it
The End Of Heartache You might be noticing a trend of listening to some really bad songs, like this one. Well actually I still kinda like this one but it's pretty boring so i don't bother listening to it
Slaves Shall Serve I didn't like this at all when I first listened to it, my mate went straight from Slayer to Behemoth and i was just like 'WTF IS THIS IT IS JUST NOISE' and stuff. Absolutely terrified the shit out of me. Great song.
One This managed to get me majorly interested in metal, i am not sure how cause i don't listen to Metallica very often nowadays. That solo is bootiful.
Angel Of Death Logical move from Metallica to Slayer, this was probably my favourite track on that album
Abominations First adventures into Death Metal. Genuinely thought there was something wrong with the download cause i didn't understand production stuff back then
Pleasure In Pain Okay shut up yeah, it's still quite a good song, if a bit odd
Bloodlust Listened to this a lot, first 'black metal' i listened to and enjoyed and stuff
Then there's a gap where I was listening to lots of different stuff I can't actually remember, and then
Harsh Generation Ooh ooh some non-metal. Really really catchy and wonderful and good memories of door delivered pizza and Dystopia mod. And i listened to it while trick or treating once :3
Mono Grind Hevviest shit eva man br00tul etc. I do like The Berzerker still i just don't listen to em much as i used to. But this blew my miiiiind. Until this came along:
Virus Bomb Got listening to them after a mate of mine did ipod swaps with me, oh dear god i do love me some Hell Is Empty.
Then my memory fades and these tracks appear in roughly this order:
Dunkelheit Yes yes I know that's not the proper name but shut up. Didn't get it first time round, but it's real damn pretty.
Summer Here Kids This is pretty as hell, Jason has a wonderful voice
Mental Change(s): Altered Consciousness Favourite song on the album so i chose it. Absolutely world shattering and I love it. Other albums are pretty meh. Agorapocalypse is shocking but Frozen Corpse was pretty good i guess
And then another break where I listened to loads of new stuff and then recent:
Who Rides The Astral Wings Wtf is this i like doom mettulz now? 40BPM or lower tracks only please, it has to be very slow
——-
No idea where the following tracks came in:
Girl/Boy Song First heard it in this video, absolutely incredible stuff, didn't know music like this existed
In A Million Years I still can't remember when/why/how I heard of Angerfist, but so glad I did, -brilliant- album
Thou Shalt Always Kill I do love this song, i really do, it's pretty much perfect in every way.
Please Don't Remember Downloaded this album cause it sounds vaguely similar to the Richard D James Album, good stuff, almost perfect if it wasn't for the last song :(
