Haha I don't even know why I wrote "noisy"! Maybe because I was thinking about Neil Young's new album "Le Noise", who knows! By the way, where are you from? Ireland?

Forgive me, I didn't have the time to answer you before! First, thanks for taking time to give me some advices concerning the Mars Volta! :) I started listening them the other day but I've had some problems with Spotify so I had to stop and restart the music every 2 minutes... I'll retry this week and tell you how did it go! But for now, what I heard was pretty good! :)

More bands should be that way. John Lydon seems to be the type of individual who pretty much would say something as that. Usually, it's the really good artists that are the ones that usually really have something to say in their music. You can pretty much tell who has something really interesting and good to say, or rather, distinguish who the real good artists are, and who aren't. Mostly because you can somewhat feel and understand them, they make stuff that really hits you. Artists like Bob Dylan, Thom Yorke, those that have really good lyrical aesthetics and do the best they can for their craft, rather than the bunches of scrubs who think they can take up a pen and a few instruments and call themselves a band/artist with "something to say."

Well, his hair was falling off, but I forgive that since he decided to shave off and look even more cooler. Of course, he looked pretty damn handsome with it, in a no homo way. I saw the live MTV version. I liked how the people were commenting how Billy purposely played in a way that pissed MTV off, since he was pissed with them.

Thanks for the comment on my journal post - and yes, the internet is a great place for attention whoring ;) I saw one guy on the Slipknot page (my inspiration for the blog)... he was posting massive shouts every few days about how he hates his mother (and other stuff) and completely abhors Slipknot! so wtf was he doing on the page day after day? he just kept coming back and reiterating that he wanted Corey Taylor to die. sheesh. :P

Aw, that's too bad. I can see how you would think that though. Grizzly Bear was a bit of a grower for me, but with Animal Collective I liked them pretty much immediately. I'm really glad you enjoyed Phoenix though!

I dunno why, but I always seem to end up passing off Tool for some weird ass reason. I always try to, but then I forget to and or just neglect them. I'll try to get myself to do that soon. And yeah, vinyl is pretty great to listen to. I also have Radiohead's OK Computer on vinyl, which is best thing I've ever listened to, especially when its the 180 gram. I'm planning on getting Kid A and In Rainbows too later.

I can't really rank Radiohead's albums either; I just sort of have a default answer for the favorite album question. I consider Radiohead my favorite band and I tend to go through phases with certain albums. I'm in an Amnesiac phase at the moment, which isn't really represented on my last.fm because it won't scrobble Radiohead unless I listen to them directly on my iTunes. So Radiohead's significantly underrepresented on my last.fm, but whatever. Glad you're finding Phoenix intriguing. :)

I don't think I could pick my favorite Frusciante album, much less my favorite album of all time (although I tend to say Kid A if the question is asked). I really love To Record Water for 10 Days and I'm especially attached to Curtains since it was the first I'd ever heard of his solo music. I just sort of love everything he does, and The Empyrean was no exception. As for recommendations... Well, I tend to suggest Phoenix to everyone; their latest album is really fun. You might enjoy some Animal Collective as well... I'd start with Feels. They tend to be pretty polarizing so sorry if you don't enjoy them. You might like Grizzly Bear's latest album, Veckatimest. I hope some of that works out for you. Let me know!
