Hey Evan, I've added you as friend 'cause we're neighbors and I thought you might like my band Cabeza de Panda. We'll be adding an english version of a song soon, but so far we only sing in Portuguese, so if I say the lyrics are cool you'll have to take my word for it;) here is the link, hope you like it... Cabeza de Panda

Well, there ya go. By coming late to the party, you completely bypassed several years worth of musical purchases which might have embarrassed you later in life.

Eighth grade? So you were, what, 13? That's not sooooo late. Course, by then I was dragging home armfuls of albums from the library, trying all kinds of weird sounds. (Yes, it was vinyl. I'm more than double your age!) In curiosity, what *was* your first album? Was it a gift?

Hi, EvanHamilton. You say you discovered music late. Define late? What turned you around?

アバウトミー

I discovered music late and have been rushing to catch up ever since. I'm up to try anything, but the genre's I float between are rock, alternative, folks, and punk. I always like eharing new bands, but there are certain tracks and albums I find my way back to. Ryan Adams' Heartbreaker is one...my pinnacle listening experience of sadsack drunken heartbreak. Blur's self-titled is another: there's something old-school and new-school about that album that will make it timeless. I grew up with Third Eye Blind and Nirvana and will never be able to escape that sound...and I don't want to.

I sing and play keyboards in a band called Monsters are not Myths. I love it...creating music is the most frustrating, amazing, crazy, awesome, addicting thing I've ever done. Check us out at www.myspace.com/monstersarenotmyths.
