I dislike "A Better Future" and "Everyone says 'Hi'", but otherwise a great list, haha!

Indeed. My favorite is probably Low. Close second come Ziggy Stardust and Hunky Dory, I'd say. Heathen is a great album, I'm just disappointed that it has as many as three covers on it (well, basically two, since the original "[track artist=The Legendary Stardust Cowboy]I Took a Trip on a Gemini Spaceship[/track] doesn't even have a melody, haha).

Well, I will, but I can't right now 'cos I'm at home and I don't have my huge harddrive of music. I'll do it when I get back to London. :)

Also, I get what ya mean. Loveless is one of my all time favourite albums now, but the first time around I was disoriented by a lot of it. It took repeated listens for it to sink in completely, and I'm glad it eventually did. XD

Good point, but to me demos quite a lot of the time aren't something to bother with. In this case because all the second CD could have been good indeed if Jeff hadn't died, but now we're stuck with frustratingly incomplete stuff (also With the Lights Out, with the exception of the demos that frustrate because they're demos of already recorded songs that don't really illuminate anything. Case in point: I dislike Rivers Cuomo's demo of "Buddy Holly" because it *doesn't* sound like the finished version, so it's a bit of an Uncanny Valley effect compared to the version I have memorised). Far as Sketches goes, to be honest I usually tend to listen to just the first CD, plus You and I and A Satisfied Mind. Maybe I should try going through it all again sometime...

Sorry man, but usually when I form an opinion it stays kind of semi-permanent... even if my opinion changes I doubt it'll be anytime soon. That song doesn't need to be 7 minutes long anyways.
