it has a lot of slight variations from the version that I'm familiar with (in the background, and in like a different 2 seconds intro) then it had that whole bit about the cables or something that I've never heard...and a couple of other random lines I've never heard like "Noooo"

pshaw, flamenco dave, dated? i think we can all agree that if you want the most up-to-date music, you can choose from a wide array of crap available on other stations. this is the best dolby ever. thank you, mr. dolby.

It does have the same verse melody as Billy Joel's "Goodnight Saigon", but both songs were released in the same year (1982).

Excellent tune! Very nice chord changes. True, you have the 80's drum sounds and synths which sound dated, but all in all, very nice.

dolby is a genius. EUROPA AND THE PIRATE TWINS to I LOVE YOU, GOODBYE. it makes sense he'd get too HYPERACTIVE for music and go to technology.

Somehow, he always seemed to be on the fringe of everything but not quite making it big. Not getting much Radio 1 airplay during the day didn't help, it was hardly threatening/controversial was it? Not such outright catchy pop stuff as his contemporaries I guess.
