Well clearly, they went from a gothic post punk band to changing their style and becoming an old school funk band filled with black people. I'm so happy to finally see a group supporting diversity the right way!

guys is it just me or is a lot of the Banshees' music not available on Spotify? Like, I know they took off The Rapture a bit ago (still pissed about that), but I just noticed that a lot of Juju's music isn't available to pay as well. WHAT HAPPENED.

alright, here are some: swans aren't really considered a goth band by many (but they are) - so listen to the great annihilator and white light from the mouth of infinity. drab majesty is pretty good. be sure to check out the side project "vr sex" - more of a borderline deathrock band also fields of the nephilim are really good.

Their early albums simultaneously influenced their contemporaries and most of the bands from 90’s alt rock scene to come. That’s some achievement, and they’re still underrated and often not included in discussions regarding the most influential bands.

Actually they get 1.9 million listeners on Spotify each month. Maybe not as underrated as I thought!
