ワンリパブリック(OneRepublic)とは、アメリカ合衆国,コロラド州,スプリングス出身の5人組ロックバンドである。

2002年に、シンガーソングライターのライアン・テダーを中心にコロラド州スプリングスにて結成。

2003年に大手メジャー「Columbia records」と契約を結ぶが、3年後に突如脱退する。その後も積極的に音楽活動を行っているうちに、人気音楽プロデューサーの「Timbaland」に発掘され、彼自身が経営する「Interscope Records」傘下の「Mosley Music Group」と契約を結ぶ。
2007年11月20日に、1stアルバム「Dreaming Out Loud」をリリース。
2009年に開催された「第51回グラミー賞」において、1stシングル「Apologize」が「Best Pop Performance」にノミネートされた。
2009年11月　2ndアルバム「Waking Up」をリリース。

    From the deep roots of Africa grew 5 young children who were forced to live in cages until the tender age of 10. During their solitary confinement they were made to play music using the bars of their cages in hopes that they would become famous musicians one day and no doubt this was the case. As the boys grew older they grew more famous and richer as a result. They toured Africa in their cages playing several different orchestral tunes with the bars of their cages, even collaborating with their other confined brothers on the occasion. Eventually the brothers had settled in the Central African Republic where they signed a record contract with Baba Mugwambe, the CEO of AfricaRec. They then went ahead to form OneRepublic, in loving memory of the Central African Republic.
