Well,he describe his new style as a mixture of industrial and dirty rock. His biggest infuences of couse are Ministry,Skinny Puppy and maybe NIN. I'm not a NIN fan though. Industrial-Dance i can't say it is. About the new album. "Perfectly Defect" is not a new album to me.It's kind of sneaky preview of what yet to come. Altough the tracks are totally new and i hear and watch them live in my counrty. Yeah,the album is very energetic and loads you with extra dose of adrenalin. I think "Thieving Bastards" is the best one there. It makes you to jump and brake something,if you know what i mean. ;)

Interesting that one album was an entire era. I liked The Grudge for its Broken Skin and few other tracks, but industrial dance is superior to my ears than industrial rock and I always fall back onto The Smell of Rain. Is the new album any good then?

@ skinnydrifter: Nope. After "The Smell of Rain" Håvard went into more industrial-rock kind of style. As for me,like a huge fan of Mortiis career i respect and fully enjoy the three eras. There must be a development. It's inevitable to stay just in one direction. Of course there is a gigantic difference in the style on the Era 3,but i think it's for good. He (Håvard) mentioned in interviews that he can't live and make music forever in the fantasy world. I personally consider "The Grudge" for one of the greatest works in his entire career ! ...and for gods sake, i really can't wait for "The Great Deceiver" to be released !!
