okay wait i would like to amend that because i somehow didn't have Re-Arrange Us. i would say these TWO new albums are way more consistent and amazing than some of the older stuff.

mountaintops is by far the most consistent and amazing record of theirs. i have loved many a MOS song, but i've never been impressed by an entire record--there are always a few weirdo ones/duds. mountaintops is a front-to-back, 100% full on awesome journey. and i am obsessed.

I have to 2nd what neckermanncj said. for some reason when I listened to mountaintops when it was released I just thought ehhh =/ and gave up. listened again this week and like it quite a lot. don't know why I missed this first time through. very nice

Mmmh, I like all Mates of State albums but I can't really say anything is quite as good as Team Boo. Mountaintops is pretty poppy but seems pretty good so far.
