リーヴズ・アイズ（Leaves’ Eyes）は、フォークメタルやゴシックメタルを基調とするノルウェーとドイツのバンド。シアター・オヴ・トラジディーを解雇されたリヴ・クリスティンと夫アレクサンダー・クルルのバンドであるアトロシティのメンバーによって2003年に結成された。

概要

バンドのサウンドはゴシックメタルやシンフォニックメタルが基本であるが、ボーカリストのクリスティンが描く祖国ノルウェーの歴史や風景が大きな要素となっており、これがフォークメタルたる理由になっている。第2作目のアルバム『ヴィンランド・サーガ』はヴァイキングであったレイフ・エリクソンのヴィンランド渡航を描いたコンセプト・アルバムになっており、こちらも高い評価を得た。

I'm a new fan of Leaves' eyes and they're coming to Greece in a month and i'll most likely go to the concert ,but can anyone tell me which songs they most frequently play live?I want to go prepared and i would like to know some of the songs they're gonna play :P

Lovelorn is really special album. I can see why a lot of people would consider it their favorite. I admit that I do find it a bit surprising that it always leads in plays by such a large margin though.

"A lot of people don't like his voice, but I do :) The Dream was my first experience of B&B vocals." THE DREAM ..... man, it works great there! It's funny, because it's the kind of song I wouldn't have expected growled vocals to work well on AT ALL, but it fits perfectly.

He's one of the few growlers that I think are alright, though I wouldn't want any more from him than they have in their music now. LE has a good balance between both vocalists imo.

I hope on the next album there are more Alex vocals. Much as I love Meredead, that was one thing I kind of missed. [2] feels like it's been ages since Meredead was released, want a new album now!!
