Maybe not their best album, but it gives me a kind of spacey feeling that I simply adore.

I can't understand why everyone talks shit about this album, true, they may have gone a bit more ambient with more synth and less guitar here and the riffs may be simpler, but the whole album is a pretty well-rounded effort, kind of like listening to port-royal if they were to take out the dance sections

Un album vraiment différent des précédents, tant par les sonorités que pour l'univers exploré sur cet opus. mais j'adhère vraiment, un album qui fera date dans l'histoire du post-rock, si post-rock il y a encore car les influences musicales sont énormes ici!

My favorite along with "The end of the beginning". Less heavy parts than on the self-titled, and I enjoy that. For me they're going back to their roots, which were my favorite stuff from them. I'm in love. <3

@Fitzyli - GIAA are never going to stray too far from their sound - just like Isis never really changed... doesn't mean the songs are bad. All these songs are really interesting - I personally prefer this album to FFR and TEOTB.

It's growing on me. As for its 'flow', I think it's fine. If you want an album you can just get lost in, it's a good one, I just don't think it has the standout tracks that their other albums have had (i.e. - 'Fire Flies and Empty Skies', 'Coda', 'Snowfall', etc.).
