Since writing This entry, a few things have changed with my top 15 artists...

My top two are still the same, which hardly surprises me at all:

1. The Smashing Pumpkins
2. Liz Phair

Since the last report, Liz has exceeded 1000 scrobbles, and the Pumpkins have added another 1000 scrobbles onto their numbers (from about 2,500 to 3,500!).

But while in the past, Silverchair came in at number 3, they have now been booted off that pedestal by...

3. Veruca Salt

Of course, there's only 12 songs difference in the scrobbles for these two bands, but still!

Last time, #4 spot was taken by Soundgarden, but since the 'Chair got bumped down...

Back in the day also, Nirvana were topping the Foo Fighters, but in more recent times their positions have been reversed, so my charts look more like this:

Further changes are afoot in positions 8, 9 & 10. Formerly they were taken by QotSA, Madonna and Kittie (in that order). Now we have the following:

11th position is taken up by an artist that has only recently made it into the top 15, though they certainly deserve to be there!

And following up from them is the unceremoniously bumped and yet awesome as ever...

There! Mystery solved! But there's another that has arisen, and that's regarding Unwritten Law: they were formerly in 12th position, but that spot is now occupied by Kittie! So where are the Law?

Well, first we get to our 13th listed artist:

13. Helmet

Booo-ya. But interestingly enough, these guys are another band that have maintained their same position in the charts. They were lucky 13 before, and lucky 13 they remain! Go boys!!!

In a rather shocking development, Hole have been bumped from the top 15 completely! They actually maintain 16th position, but they're still way up there in my heart! Love you Courtney!!

So who's at 14 now? Well, remember that second unsolved mystery?

14. Unwritten Law

Finally, one of my all-time faves from the olden days, Jawbreaker, have also lost their grip on 15th position, and have been replaced by the ever wonderful...

15. Catherine Wheel!!!

I am thrilled to see the Wheel up there in the top levels, because they totally deserve to be there. They have been amongst my favourites for a couple of years now (probably more, I have a strangely confusing grip on time...), and I think my love of them shows!

20. The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Too many posthumous releases. And they get repetitative.

19. Katy Perry - Kind of manufactured. And I don't have high hopes for her 2nd album.

18. TRV$DJAM - Too much rap in their mix tapes, very limited music choices in both. Plus AM died, and I'm not cool with that.

17. Gun n' Roses - Use You Illusion I wasn't that cool. Then, Axl went insane.

16. Sonic Youth - Very aquired taste. Their music is boring on the first listen.

15. Beastie Boys - The only thing is that they're way too low on this list. I don't understant how they are as low as guns 'n roses, they deserve to be higher.

14. Rage Against the Machine - Their guitar borders the line of distinctive and repetitive. That's my only complaint.

13. Foo Fighters - I don't know any of the others guys' names, just Dave's. I don't know why that is. And I don't like it.

12. Metallica - St. Anger. That is all.

11. Alexisonfire - Old Crows/Young Cardinals wasn't that great of an album. And they're not as popular on much as they were before, that makes me sad.

10. Lily Allen - She's a little crazy. And some of her songs have none to little flow, only a select few though.

9. Nirvana - The fact that they're not around anymore is kinda shitty.

8. Metric - Some of their songs are kind of boring, especially earlier ones.

7. Lady GaGa - Her first few singles became overplayed/over-rated. She also over works herself, and it makes me fear some kind of break down.

6. The Beatles - I don't have The White Album. That's not very cool. Who can say something bad about The Beatles?

5. Lights - She toured with Owl City, which gives her lame points.

4. Yeah Yeah Yeahs - They've kinda lost the crazy from the first two albums. I'm scared that Karen O is toning it down.

3. Taylor Swift - Her vocals are kind of weak, and she doesn't really act her age. I'm subconsciously aware that she's not that good.

2. Paramore - They're always on the verge to break up. Some of the songs don't have any catchy-ness or flow. Decode was overplayed.

1. Blink 182 - Up All Night still isn't out. They seem to be going into their reunion half-assed.
