MasterLink, I really like Rage Against the Machine too but I am not a communist and am not interested in many of their political nit-pickings. The music is amazing and I love jamming out to it. I love to chill to Bright Eyes. When I am chilling I am not trying to think of deep political wrong-doings. His hate for Bush shows through too much his writing and I have to ignore that when I am trying to relax. His songwriting is brilliant and I love the music. I just don't always like the content and so I have to just tune it out and relax to the melody. Same thing with Brett Dennen. I think you might feel the same if the words were sometimes conservative in nature. The difference being many progressive types simply wouldn't listen to such music. I listen to it all. And to Connor's credit it's only a couple songs I really don't like. Lover I Don't Have to Love for example is one of my faves just because of the jam. But no political speak in that one either which is nice.
