This is open group for all Steampunks, Victorian science fiction fans and people who enjoy Steampunk inspired music, movies or literature...

In recent years Steampunk has become independent sub-genre of pop-culture, but originally Steampunk is a sub-genre of speculative fiction literature which came into prominence in the 1980s and early 1990s. It is largely inspired by Victorian fantasy stories.

It's hard to define Steampunk as music genre because it consists so many different styles; So it may be easier to understand Steampunk-music as "Music inspired by Steampunk"

Check out the artist Electro Swingers. They have a really cool album out called 'Steampunk'. As the bands name suggests they are an electronic/swing fusion. You can listen to the album on Spotify and MOG.
