kind of cinematically suggestive music that may inspire visual conceptualisation for filmmaking.

For fans of music made for imaginary films, or any kind of cinematically suggestive music that may inspire visual
conceptualisation for filmmaking, i.e. the music of Brian Eno, Steve Reich, Susumu Yokota, Arvo Pärt, Wendy Carlos,
Isao Tomita, Goblin, Philip Glass, Michael Nyman, Aphex Twin, and Arling & Cameron.

An appreciation of some of these directors who use music in films well in combination with visual storytelling would
be preferable: Wes Anderson, Peter Greenaway, David Lynch, Stanley Kubrick, Leos Carax, Nicolas Roeg, Wim Wenders,
Chris Cunningham, Michael Winterbottom, Gus Van Sant, Anton Corbijn, David Fincher, Sofia Coppola, Gaspar Noé,
Michel Gondry, Alejandro González Iñárritu, Stephane Sednaoui, Jonathan Glazer, Sergio Leone, Krzysztof Kieślowski,
Harmony Korine, Hal Hartley, Monte Hellman, Spike Jonze, and so forth.

95% of my music has a soundtrack feel to it. I just did sound for the twilight saga, and about 5 Indy films that screened at sundance and Cannes last year. I also just finished up scoring a video game that's on the app store now. I love music that can invoke a visual image or an emotional response! some of the best music ever made in my opinion comes out of films..!

If anyone's interested in a very cinematic / visual record i suggest The Bridgeheads - 'Foreigners' (2010) - a this year's masterpiece. Frontman of the band Tomas dAsK made a video for each song on his own and it's a sheer beauty
