Spirit of Folk Festival 21-23 September
This unique festival is a chance to immerse yourself in Ireland's rich folk heritage and experience the magic of the “Spirit of Folk”. This is a musical festival with a difference, not only showcasing the best folk, trad and bluegrass has to offer in Ireland and the UK but by being a completely immersive experience by hosting storytelling, archery, falconry, historical re-enactments, experimental archeology all to the background of an awesome party!
Last year saw folk legends from Gay Woods (steeleye span) and Dr. Strangely Strange to up and comers Lisa O’Neill, Rhob Cunningham and The Hot Sprockets take to the main stage and woo a friendly crowd into falling in love. We also have a beautiful and peaceful healing area where you can rest those feet, have a massage, take a workshop, join in a drumming circle or prance around like a pooka!
