Oh I remember the Mexican van looking immense last year, it sold out too early on both nights for me though. Still a bit heartbroken about that to this day.

More than a bit gutted I had to miss this. Was the food situation any better than last year?

@ThroatOfIshmael Damn, how were A Storm Of Light? I only got to the venue when they finished, only band I wanted to see and missed. Haha, yeah, so intimidating!

Haha! That was him! I thought it was some fan who managed to sneak-climb from the left-hand side. If he had jumped into the crowd from there, he would have hit me, ha!

@ThroatOfIshmael Even my friend who likes them wanted to leave so I could see Balam Acab, haha. Floor were insane, the setlist was flawless too. I managed to meet Steve Brooks at the merch table beforehand and had a picture, spoke absolute shit to him too, bit of a fanboy, haha.

Dirty Three, Thee Oh Sees, Mogwai, Sleepy Sun and Siskiyou were my highlights of the weekend. Don't want to start any controversy but the Afghan Whigs weren't all that. First song reminded me of U2... (Not that anyone has said anything about them for me to disagree with, I just needed to state an opinion apropos of nothing).

Highlights for me had to be Slayer, Sleep, Floor, Melvins and Mogwai. Am I the only person who thought Codeine were ridiculously boring? @Belovodie The Soft Moon were pretty good, I'd never even heard of them before, but definitely checking out an album after their performance.

Great couple of days, Friday and Saturday. Sleep and Mudhoney my two favourites, wish I'd caught more of ASOL rather than the last ten minutes.

Gutted I missed YOB again, sleep where brilliant and Slayer are always fun. Organisation was a bit all over the place though.

Went to the friday, WITTR were awesome, other bands were fun. But the organisation of picking up tickets on the friday was terrible, they said it would be open from 2, but they failed to say that it would close from about 3:30 till 4:15, the time when any normal person who wanted to be early, would turn up. Trying to get tap water was fucking awful too.

Great night overall, missed ASOL, but caught the other 5 bands on Friday. Should have maybe got to the venue earlier to catch ASOL. Slayer were the highlight IMO, but loved all of the bands I saw. Good venue, Ally Pally, but took longer for me to get to than I thought. Getting into the venue was a bit of a lottery, so that's what caused me to miss ASOL. It was easy to get between the 2 halls. ANyone got a setlist for the 1st 3 bands?
