!!! 2nd TIER NOW ON SALE !!!
Ltd tickets at £8!

!!! 1st TIER SOLD OUT !!!
25 tickets at a super bargain price of £5 which also includes an EXCLUSIVE + FREE ANNIVERSARY SHIRT for you to pick up upon arrival.

Yesterday, DIY published an interview with Best Friends summing up the triumphant tale of their album release and dabbling in folklore of their past and ours. With five notches in our belts, ten collective grey hairs and twenty seasons past, it gives us nothing but pleasure to watch our friends and family venture to the summit of prosperity. As this is merely a hobby for us; an outlet to distribute the fruits of enjoyment that pile into our inbox, the idea of success for any individual that may have been associated with us is exciting beyond belief.

To celebrate the triumphs of these past five years, it only makes sense to head back to the south – Bristol, David’s current homeland and Richard’s 7th favourite UK city, to be exact. We’ll be hitting three stages, The Exchange and The Stag and Hounds, with 25+ bands and if our past events are anything to go by you should expect a busy schedule, street beers, a Jake May Piñata and excitement all round. Join us on Saturday 29th August!

After each ticketing wave sells out, we’ll announce new bands! The current wave is as follows;

1st tier – 25 tickets are now on sale at a super bargain price of £5 (!!!) which also includes an EXCLUSIVE + FREE ANNIVERSARY SHIRT for you to pick up upon arrival.

2nd tier – reduced £8 entry to the event.

As if you need any introduction, here’s the first wave of who’ll be joining us to celebrate;

| TRUST FUND | https://trustfund.bandcamp.com/
After scrabbling around in the big ball of balls, Trust Fund were the first name to come out of the hat and have been awarded a home tie! They’ve made one of our favourite albums of the year and word is there’s another where that came from.

| BLOODY KNEES | https://soundcloud.com/bloodyknees

| Doe | https://soundcloud.com/doetheband
I’ve got Doe idea how it’s taken us this long to hook up with these guys (sorry). Their no-messin’ pop punk bangers have long been favourites of ours and if all goes to plan, Doe will also be joining our monthly single’s club around the same time.

| BIRDSKULLS | https://soundcloud.com/birdskulls
Despite recently giving us a mild form of empty nest (or skull) syndrome, there ain’t no party like a bskulls party so we had to have them along. Their debut album is due on Dog Knights soon, make sure you learn all the words and holler them back.

| Something Anorak | https://somethinganorak.bandcamp.com/
Since taking flight from the Falmouth scene which made our formative years so fun, Something Anorak have released an excellent album of noise pop on Howling Owl, signed to our friends across the ocean at Lefse and also played one of my favourite gigs of 2014 on a wet and windy night in a scout hut.

| /please/ | https://artishardrecords.bandcamp.com/album/e-p
What do Jake May and Big Jeff have in common? They’re both agreed that the above EP is their favourite AIH release. They’ll be pleased as plums to hear we’ve got a rare performance from her – expect understated yet beautiful introspective pop.

| N E W Y E A R S E V I L | https://newyearsevol.bandcamp.com/
Along with The Black Tambourines, this Exeter band pretty much gave us a reason to carry on back in the early days of 2010. It was only right that we asked them to come out of whichever corner of the country they’ve been hiding in to slay you all once again with their saccharine slacker rock.

For our friends from London and further afield…

Londoners! Although we’re a bit further out than zone 6, it’s actually pretty easy to get to Bristol. From 1st June, Megabus should be selling tickets for the August bank holiday weekend – if current prices are anything to go on, you could nab yourself a return for £2! (we’ll remind you in this event when they go on sale.) The coach station is about 20 minutes’ walk from the venues.

Alternatively, you can hop on a train in London and be in Bristol 1 hr 30 later! Bristol’s main station Temple Meads is a 10 minute walk from the venue.

If you’re looking for somewhere to stay, here’s a couple of options:

The Full Moon Backpacker Hotel – 15 min walk - http://fmbristol.co.uk/

The Premier Inn – 15 min walk -http://www.premierinn.com/en/hotel/BRIMTI/bristol-city-centre-haymarket

ibis Bristol Temple Meads Quay -10 min walk (if that) - http://www.ibis.com/gb/hotel-6593-ibis-bristol-temple-meads-quay/index.shtml

The Lanes – 15 min walk - http://www.thelanesbristol.co.uk/hostel/

Can't wait to see you all there :3 xox
