TROUMACA, named after a town in St.Vincent, represent a fresh, organic and rhythm based sound coming outta Birmingham. Taking influence from classic dub riddims, calypso / tropical, 90's RnB and a hint of new jack swing, Troumaca have developed into a live powerhouse that's picked up fans all over the country (including Huw Stephens & Gilles Peterson).

VICTORIES AT SEA are no strangers to the thisistmrw stage having previously opened for Neon Indian for us last year but the exciting experimental three piece have been keeping local shows few and far between in 2012. Thisis will be their long awaited return to the Hare & Hounds stage amidst rumours new material will drop soon following on from last year's teasing introduction via Future Gold.

VAS mix electronics reminiscent in part of New Order/Depeche Mode with guitars in debt to The Chameleons whilst also being able to take influence from more recent alternative bands. These guys possess tunes with the potential to fill the the largest of venues, simply a case of when and where we say.

"G R E A T W A V E S A R E C A L L I N G" .......... we caught this atmospheric two piece at Sounds From The Other City in Salford recently and knew immediately we had to get these guys down to play our night. 'G R E A T W A V E S' mix electronics, soaring vocals, trippy beats and spiky guitars with grand visuals. This will be their debut show in Birmingham and promises to be one of those shows you'll be glad you didn't miss out on when they go huge in 6 months time.

ARC VEL's impressive electronic set in support of WALLS recently won us and the regular thisistmrw crowd over so much we've brought him back for this show. His laptop midi processed beats mixed with guitars are occasionally joined on stage by additional musicians and develop unique melodic surprises against lounge soundscapes, think Four Tet / Burial vibes, not to be missed and an apt opener to such a varied line up.
