An American favorite for his award-winning role in the hit TV series House, the versatile British actor Hugh Laurie showcased his musical side last March in New Orleans with a crack band and a songlist of classic blues and jazz. Released on CD in April, and aired nationally in September as a PBS Great Performances special, Let Them Talk: A Celebration of New Orleans Blues is Laurie’s very personal--and finely-wrought--journey into the heart and soul of an extraordinary, timeless musical tradition.
